In the sky, where Link and the other humans live, the existence of the surface world was but a legend. And in the surface, home of the sub-human races, there’s a legend about a large piece of land floating in the sky.
“This time around, we created a simple field and it was a challenge to come up with a system for accessing every area quickly. One of the planners wanted to have something like skydiving from a very high place, and we worked around that. For some time, we even had a lake in the very centre of the surface.”
