•The Master Sword That Sleeps in the Forest
Obtaining clues to their whereabouts from the stone monuments located around the kingdom, Link obtains the pendants of Wisdom and Power. He then pulls the Master Sword from the pedestal in the forest.
However, Princess Zelda, seeking refuge in the Sanctuary, is discovered by soldiers from the castle and brought to Agahnim.
•The Seal of the Seven Sages is Broken
When Link enters Hyrule Castle, Agahnim sends Princess Zelda off to the Dark World right before his eyes. The seal of the seven sages has been broken.
Link fights Agahnim and manages to corner him, but is pulled into the Dark World. Finally, the seal on the Sacred Realm has been broken, and a passage between Hyrule Castle and the Dark World is opened.

•Stone Monument
A monument upon which information on how to obtain the three pendants is written. The text is in ancient Hylian, so it is necessarily to located the Book of Mudora in Kakariko Village in order to decipher it.
•The Forest of the Master Sword
The Master Sword was once stored within a temple, but the temple rotted away and was overgrown by forest.
•The Pyramid
An enormous building at the heart of the Dark World. Its location parallels that of Hyrule Castle in the Light World.

A world inhabited by people, with Hyrule Castle at its center. The soil of this land, created by the Goddesses, is abundant with plant life and water.
